The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, an acidulous/juicy frame, a nice definition, some fatness, accuracy as well as harmony. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackcurrant, bright purple plum and slight notes of raspberry associated with touches of cherry, hints of cornflower, spices as well as a subtle hint of licorice stick, of lily, cardamom and a subtle hint almost tonka bean in the background. The tannins are elegant and offer a soft finish. Good length. A subtle hint of good bitterness on the persistent finish. A lovely, delicious and savory wine!
