The nose is fruity, incisif, elegant and concentrated. It reveals notes of crushed blackberries, cassis and fresh Gariguette strawberry associated with discreet notes of violet, tea (Ceylan and Lapson Souchong) as well as a hint of graphite, spice, a discreet hint of pepper and an imperceptible hint of iris. The palate is fruity, rich, relatively fat offers minerality, suavity, a good volume, a nice fresh fruit as well as a small acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry and cassis combined with fine notes of plum, fresh cherry, raspberry as well as a touch of crushed strawberry, toasted oak and a discreet touch of vanilla. Tannins are fine, well-built and a bit dry. Good length. The finish is gourmand.
