The nose is aromatic, full, fresh and relatively rich (but balanced). It reveals notes of blackberry, fresh Quetsche plum and discreet notes of mocha associated with small notes of flint as well as fine notes of violets. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, racy, relatively depth and offers a small juiciness, freshness, fat, a good structure and a nice matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and wild strawberry associated with fine hints of cherry, toasted oak, graphite as well as a discreet note of cardamom and chocolate. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence with cocoa notes.
