(vines in pergolas) The nose is fruity and offers a liquorice side, a small concentration and deepness of fruit. It reveals notes of blackcurrant, fresh flowers (violet, iris) and small notes of small juicy fresh fruits associated with sappy/star anise touches as well as fine hints of rose and discreet sweet spices. The palate is fruity, precise and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality, a beautiful acidity, brightness and a beautiful energy. Floral and sappy side. It expresses notes of juicy/tangy cassis, tangy raspberry and small notes of red berries associated with a touch of crunchy plum, sappy, verbena as well as a discreet almost citrus hint and rose in the background. Good length. Slightly firm tannins. A subtle salinity on the finish.
