Château Fontaine Saint Cric 2021 – Fronsac

The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration and a slight sensation in creaminess. A certain density (In the context of this vintage). There are notes of morello cherry, crushed blackberry and small notes of strawberry associated with slight touches of violet, roasted small fruits and liquorice. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, gourmandise as well as maturity. Beautiful freshness and attack. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/bright cassis ans small notes crushed raspberry associated with touches of small blue fruits, blond tabaco, badian as well as a subtle of saline and sappy hint in the background. Good definition and length. Good work on the good bitterness on the finish.
