The nose is mineral and offers aromas of small wild fruit and flowers. It reveals notes of pulpy blackcurrant, violet and slight notes of roasted red berries associated with a touch of star anise as well as slight hints of lily and pepper/graphite. The palate is mineral and offers fruit, a certain maturity of the fruit, suppleness and acidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fairly ripe small wild strawberries, fairly ripe raspberries and slight notes of blackcurrant associated with touches of violet, lily, racy minerality as well as a slight hint of gunflint, liquorice, chocolate and toast. The tannins are supple and racy. Nice persistence with good work on the good bitters.
