The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose offers a certain aromatic concentration and a fresh herbaceous side. It expresses notes of roasted red cherry, raspberry coulis, morellocherry, as well as black plum (with a hint of prunes) and dried blackcurrant. There are also touches of rosemary, crushed mint, mint chocolate, peony and violet, with a very light touch of fresh tobacco. The palate is juicy, silky and enveloping. It expresses the flavors of ripe morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant, red cherry, black plum and blackberry, as well as mentholated touches of licorice and rosemary, associated with floral hints (violet, lily). The finish is lively, fresh, with a salivating acidity and a good bitterness. There is a hint of tobacco and bird cherry on the finish. The tannins are tight, grippy on the finish, but have a fine grain. Beautiful tasty persistence.
