The nose is fruity, fresh, revealing some power, fine intensity and lovely ripe/fresh fruit. There are notes of pulpy boysenberry, dark berries and slightly more Morello cherry combined with hints of pulpy berry, liquorice/badian as well as fine notes of lily, Madagascar pepper and a discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, with minerality, freshness, good definition, suavity and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, sour cherry/cherry and more lightly pulpy/juicy violet plum combined with a touch of tart/fresh red berries, lily/blueberry as well as fine hints of star anise, sweet spices and a subtle hint of vanilla in the background. Good length. Gourmandize, sincerity and purity.
