The nose is fruity and offers power, a small freshness, a fine fleshiness as well as elegance. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of cornflower associated with small touches of juicy/fleshy blueberry as well as fine hints of liquorice, cocoa and a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of raspberry, fleshy/juicy red berries associated with small touches of blueberry as well as subtle hints of almond, cardamom and nutmeg. Tannins are elegant. There are very fine hints of dark chocolate/cocoa and very discreet hints of coffee (in the background) on the finish.
