The nose is gourmand and enveloping: it expresses notes of yellow peach, apricot and ripe orange at the opening, combined with floral aromas (acacia, linden) and a refreshing herbaceous hint of crushed mint. Then we find notes of fresh citrus (crushed yellow lemon, a hint of grapefruit), fresh pineapple, vanilla, a touch of toasted hazelnut in the background, as well as yogurt and butter. The palate is savoury and chiseled. The attack offers a tangy frame of citrus (yellow lemon, fresh orange) and green apple, as well as a touch of good bitterness. The mid-palate is softer in its lactic nuance (lemon yogurt, butter in the background), vanilla and slightly toasted (fresh hazelnut, toasted hazelnut). The finish is chiseled, tangy, slightly bitter and rather persistent. Freshness, an airiness and straightness in this wine.
