The nose is fruity, fresh and offers concentration as well as a finely tight grain. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small juicy/crunchy red fruits, small notes of cherry associated with small touches of violet as well as hints of tonka bean, a racy minerality, rose and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, gourmandize as well as tension and suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of raspberry associated with small touches of juicy/fleshy cherry, plum, chocolate as well as discreet hints of toasted. A persistence on notes of chocolate, toasted almond and caramelization. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
