The nose reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly flowers associated with a subtle hint of racy minerality/gravels (Graves) as well as fine hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers fat, fullness, a small tension, a good guideline, dynamism, a good freshness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, crushed redcurrant and more slightly blackberry associated with fine/discreet touches of blueberry, liquorice as well as subtle touches of racy minerality, vanilla/sugared mild tobacco and fine hints of toasted oak.
