The nose is fruity, racy and offers beautiful elegance, finesse, depthness and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, fresh / ripe strawberry and slight notes of blueberry combined with a touch of plum, racy minerality, violet, a subtle toasted hint as well as an imperceptible hint of coffee and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely tight, relatively silky and offers freshness, roundness, suavity, a small fat, tension, a good definition, a fine depthness and a fine gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh cassis and fresh / ripe strawberries combined with hints of blackberry, fleshy / juicy cherry, slight notes of licorice, violet, and a hint of toasted oak, a fine hint of dark chocolate (in the background) and a discreet hint of cardamon. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. Good length and persistence. Fine gourmandise on persistence.
