Château Fleur-Pétrus 2020 – Pomerol

Nice delicate and elegant nose with a certain subtlety in its power and in its richness. Airiness accompanies notes of bright blackberries, black pepper and small notes of bright blue berries, crushed currants associated with touches of cornflower, lilies and hints of sweet spices, blond tobacco and tonka bean. The mouth is fruity with a nice freshness and delicacy in its fattiness. There is a nice carrying energy and a nice tartness with notes of juicy blackberries, cornflower and small notes of bright fresh blueberries combined with hints of crushed strawberries as well as hints of vanilla, nutmeg and subtle notes of graphite and toast. Pretty freshness and sapidity for this complete, elegant, subtle and airy wine in its richness and in its solar profile. There is a nice souple, sapid persistence with good cocoa bitterness.
