The nose is elegant, velvety and offers delicacy, depth, spices as well as a certain slight darkness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, gray pepper and small notes of clove associated with touches of star anise as well as fine almost cherry hints and discreet hints of nutmeg. The palate is mineral, fresh, saline and racy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh flowers and small notes of fresh/fleshy small red berries associated with touches of salinity, juicy/fresh cassis, almost cornflower hints, infusion/black tea and sweet spices. A subtle hint of toasted hazelnut in the background. Good length. Presence of a subtle saline hint in the background. A discreet and good work on the good bitters.
