The nose is fruity, racy and reveals some intensity, precision/cleanness and freshness. There are notes of bright red berries, fresh violets and more lightly crunchy berries combined with a touch of blackcurrant and a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, balanced and reveals a fine crispness, a nice freshness, juiciness, a nice acidic structure, tension, good definition, some volume and pulpiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, fresh violet and, more lightly, small crunchy red berries combined with touches of bright plum, fine cardamom, fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of fresh almond, fresh lily and a subtle hint of liquorice (in the background). A very discreet hint of chocolate in the background. The tannins are soft. A fine chewiness on the finish.
