The nose is fruity and offers elegance, freshness as well as concentration in control and elegance. There are notes of Morello cherry, blackcurrant and more slightly strawberry combined with touches of liquorice, sweet spices as well as a hint of cardamom and a discreet touch of graphite. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy/pulpy structure, a gourmet side, a nice freshness and a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of plump/juicy redcurrant, fleshy/juicy strawberry and more slightly crunchy blackcurrant combined with hints of fresh violet, fresh lilac as well as fine points of racy minerality, toastiness and a subtle almost graphite/incense edge. Good length.
