The nose is aromatic and offers a small concentration / intensity. It reveals notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and small notes of wild berries associated with small touches of Sichuan pepper, a discreet hint of spices, ripe red fruits as well as discreet hints of toasted oak, liquorice and an imperceptible touch of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a fine mineral frame, roundness, a good definition as well as a small juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cassis and small notes of cherry associated with touches of small red berries, discreet hints of toasted oak, liquorice and a very discreet hint of cardamom / almond. Tannins are well-built. Good length. The finish is gourmande and slightly tight. There is a subtle hint of fleshy / juicy blueberry on the finish.
