The nose is fruity and offers concentration as well as elegance. It reveals notes of ripe cassis and ripe / crushed redcurrant associated with hints of ripe raspberry and fine / discreet hints of gray pepper spikes, as well as a subtle hint of sweet spices and clay. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine acidity (in the background), a nice freshness and juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, crunchy redcurrant and fleshy raspberry combined with fine touches of fresh cherry as well as toasted hints, liquorice and an imperceptible touch of caramelization / chocolate. Tannins are fine and currently young (2020+). Good length. There is an imperceptible touch of almond on the aftertaste (6 caudalies).
