Lovely nose offering fruit, a certain depth, purity of fruit, elegance, a chiselled side and lovely grain. There are notes of pulpy/fleshy cassis, brilliant black cherry and small notes of lilac and camphor, associated with touches of crushed red plum, as well as fine hints of cornflower, sweet spices, a subtle hint of Bourbon vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. The palate is nicely textured, sapid, gourmand, velvety and offers good definition, precision, purity, brilliance, relief and a chiselled side. Lovely mellow, gourmand mid-palate. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet and small notes of lilac, combined with touches of juicy violet plum, hints of small roasted-juicy red fruits, as well as fine hints of anise, cardamom and a subtle hint of toastiness. Mellow tannins. Roundness and finesse. A seductive character provided by Cabernet Franc.
