Château FLEUR CARDINALE 2021 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé

The nose is elegant, racy, currently finely tight and will gain to be decanted. It offers complexity and a beautiful finesse of the grain, an aerial and noble side in its spices and in its power. It reveals notes of small blue berries, violet/ lily and small notes of juicy/ fresh cassis associated with touches of fresh tobacco, Sichuan pepper and a discreet hint almost iodized. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, acidity, good definition, precision, tension, a beautiful finesse, juiciness, suavity, and sense of detail. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ fresh cherry, small juicy/ fresh blue berries and small notes of juicy/ fresh cassis associated with touches of star anise, lilac, discreet hints of sense of the place (almost bay berries in the background). It has precise and elegant tannins with slight hints of toast/ chocolate and crushed almond. Beautiful textured finish with gourmandise. It is a wine that requires time and the patient to reveal.
