The nose is fresh, elegant, complex and flowery. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed strawberry and more lightly crushed blueberry associated with fine hints of tonka bean as well as a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers a slight sensation of sweetness, freshness, roundness, fat, a fine unctuosity, juiciness, a pretty gourmandize as well as a tangy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy blackberry, crushed strawberry and more slightly crushed blueberry associated with hints of violet, cornflowers, crushed small fruits, vanilla as well as fine hints of cardamom, toasted almond, a discreet biscuit hint and a subtle hint of pepper (in the background). Tannins are precise, structuring and polished. Presence of a nice hint of iodine on the finish / persistence.
