The nose is spicy and offers a fine peppery touch as well as a nice floral character. There are notes of crushed blackcurrant, blueberry and, to a lesser extent, violet, combined with subtle touches of peony, roasted red berries and a discreet sappy hint. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, acidity, energy and tension. On the palate this wine expresses juicy blackberry/pulp, blueberry and more slightly red berry notes combined with hints of peony and a hint of camphor. The tannins are soft and sapid. Good length. The persistence is sapid.
