(33% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc, 39% Cabernet Sauvignon) Very pretty fruity nose, elegant, textured, gourmand, deep, precise, graphite and offering a very pretty infusion and multi-layered side. A floral side (cornflower, almost fresh lily). We find notes of boysenberry, ripe Charlotte strawberry and small notes of small red fruits, almost roasted-juicy, associated with touches of cornflower, lilac, bergamot, black cherry, as well as a hint of small brilliant fruits, hints of almost roasted, a smoky side and fine hints of elegant darkness. The palate is beautifully elegant, juicy, pulpy, balanced, racy, all in finesse, creamy, airy and offers gourmandise, a tangy frame, superb purity, silkiness, a lovely texture, a graphene side, depth, complexity/multi-layered side, a iodized side, as well as a superb sense of detail. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of roasted-elegant red cherry, small brilliant red fruits and small notes of brilliant cassis, combined with touches of cornflower, graphene, cherry pit, roasted-elegant raspberry, infusion, fine hints of tonka bean, toastiness, smoke and a subtle hint of colas. Lovely midpalate. Nice chalky persistence. A superb, harmonious Cabernet Franc, which coats the palate with delicacy and adds a gourmandise and elegance. A perfect demonstration of what Bordeaux technically can and knows how to do in a more than complicated vintage !
