Château Fieuzal 2022 – Pessac Léognan

Lovely elegant, racy, full, aromatic, precise, fresh nose which offers energy as well as fullness. We find notes of small ripe fruits, fresh sap/warm pine needles and small notes of pulpy blackberries, small fleshy/juicy red fruits associated with hints of cornflower, spices, almost iodized as well as a hint of imperceptible hint of sense of place (local biotop) and a very discreet hint of clove. The palate is fruity, balanced, nicely mineral, nicely racy and offers juiciness, energy, freshness, tension, accuracy, an tangy/mineral frame as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackcurrant, small bright red berries and small notes of juicy/pulp cherry associated with touches of fresh lily, iodized minerality as well as hints of pine needles, fresh nutmeg and toast/chocolate. The tannins are soft, elegant and precise. Nice roundness in the finish.
