Château Feytit-Clinet 2022 – Pomerol

The nose is fresh and offers a certain depth as well as a little smoky side. We find notes of blackberry, violet and slight notes of blackcurrant, incense associated with touches of small fresh red berries, lilac, smoke as well as a discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, a slight tension, a certain sapidity, a nice cashmere side, an airy side, a slight straightness, a fine concentration as well as silkiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, crushed boysenberry and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with touches of cornflower, blue plum, smoke and a subtle hint of tonka bean. Good length.
