(70% CS, 18% Petit Verdot, 10% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc) The nose is fruity, floral, fresh and offers lovely definition, precision, complexity, depth, a certain smoky side and a fine, fresh, airy grain. There are notes of Madagascar pepper, small fresh/juicy black fruits and small notes of camphor, associated with touches of cornflower, brilliant blueberry, as well as fine roasted-elegant red fruits hints and a hint of smoke / toasted. The palate is well-built, floral, balanced, delicate, coating and offers juiciness, a fresh frame / nice freshness, nice definition, energy, a melodious side as well as acidity. A delicate intensity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, bright raspberry and small notes of fresh cherry, combined with touches of violet, racy minerality/margalaises gravel, as well as a hint of smoke and fresh spices. Chalky tannins. Good length. Nice little chewiness. Nice spicy character from the Petit Verdot.
