Lovely, elegant, racy nose offering tension as well as a lovely, very fine, airy and discreetly powdery grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, raspberry and small notes of Cubeb pepper associated with touches of blackberry as well as discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, elegant, gourmand, airy, delicate, silky and offers a tangy frame as well as accuracy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackcurrant, fleshy blackberry and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of tonka bean, tobacco as well as fine hints of roasted hazelnut and discreet hints of toasted almond. The tannins are elegant, precise and frank. Nice intensity. Intensity on the persistence.
