The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers a good definition, a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful suavity, a fine acidulous frame, gourmandize, a fine tension, a beautiful finesse/delicacy as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy wild raspberry and more slightly juicy red berries associated with small touches of liquorice, violet, graphite, fine hints of spices, toasted as well as very discreet hints of tonka bean/mocha and mild tobacco (in the background). Tannins are fine and structuring. Good length.
