The nose is fruity and aromatic. It reveals fine notes of cassis, discreet notes of red fruits and small spicy notes associated with slight notes of liquorice, blond tobacco and a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and undergrowth. The palate is fruity, slightly gourmande, relatively fat and offers a small concentration, suavity as well as an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of strawberry, blackberry and a hint of morello cherry associated with discreet notes of cassis, a hint of blueberry as well as slight notes of licorice and slight touches of racy minerality on the finish. Tannins are fine and a bit dry. Good length.
