The nose is aromatic, finely incisive and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of fresh small fruits associated with fine notes of blackberry, truffle, underbrush, gray pepper as well as slight notes of toasted oak. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively gourmande and offers suavity and an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, wild strawberry and fine notes of cassis associated with discreet notes of liquorice as well as a discreet hint of violet and (very) fine / discreet hints of iodine minerality. Tannins are fine, racy and very finely firm. Good length. The finish is gourmande and finely suave.
