The nose is elegant, powerful and tight. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, violet and more slightly bright wild red fruits associated with a touch of cornflowers, pepper, a fine hint of saffron (on its flowery side) as well as fine hints of vanilla and toast. The palate is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a nice definition, gourmandize, smoothness in freshness, dynamism, silkiness as well as straight. This wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed blackberries and more slightly crushed raspberry associated with touches of sour cherry, blueberry, zan, vanilla as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco and a subtle almost saffron point. Presence of a very discreet, almost varietal hint on the finish (which revives and gives dynamism). Tannins are mellow.
