The nose is fruity and offers power, concentration, depth as well as a finely tight side (a little stretched). It reveals notes of crème de cassis, blackberry and more lightly wild strawberries associated with touches of nutmeg, cardamom, hints of toast, toast as well as a subtle hint of coffee and graphite. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a tangy frame, freshness, good minerality, concentration as well as a good guideline. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, small fleshy black currants and more slightly wild strawberry associated with touches of toast, cardamom, fine hints of caramelization, a discreet hint of cinnamon as well as a subtle hint of licorice and black pepper. Tannins are precise and well developed. Good length. Good freshness, a hint of graphite and a nice texture on the finish.
