Château Faizeau 2019

On the nose it offers a fine richness. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, jammy blackberry and more lightly crushed red currants associated with touches of liquorice as well as fine hints of toasted almond, vanilla and a subtle hint of camphor. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a small tangy frame, fat as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, jammy blackberry and more slightly fleshy / crushed raspberry associated with touches of violet, vanilla as well as fine hints of toasted hazelnut and toast. The tannins are precise and relatively smooth.
