Château Fage 2023 – Graves de Vayres

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose offers gourmandise, a touch of sweetness at the opening and an enveloping side. We first smell the aromas of yellow peach, ripe apricot, candied yellow lemon, orange, fresh pineapple, complemented by tangy touches
of yellow lemon zest, passion fruit, grapefruit, as well as an elegant floral bouquet (honeysuckle, apple blossom, acacia). The palate is fruity, fresh and enveloping at the same
time, slightly bitter in the middle of the mouth and on the persistence (good grapefruit
bitterness). It also expresses the flavors of yellow lemon zest, tangy apricot, yellow peach,
orange, crushed yellow lemon, fresh pineapple, as well as passion fruit, honeysuckle, acacia
and a lactic hint of fresh butter. Beautiful tangy and mineral structure on the persistence, good length with a hint of grapefruit bitterness.
