The nose is fresh and offers a fine concentration and intensity of grain. There are notes of blackcurrant, wild blackberry and more slightly spiced, with hints of wild strawberry, pepper and a discreet touch of nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, good definition, fine tension and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, tart red berries and more slightly fresh lily combined with fine varietal notes (blackberry leaf) and a subtle hint of pepper, toast and cocoa. A touch of clove in the background.
