Château Elisée 2016 – Pomerol

The nose is powerful, a bit tight and offers a small concentration. It reveals notes of blackberries, small ripe berries and small touches of raspberry, blue berries associated with discreet hints of nutmeg, spices as well as a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight mineral frame, a slight juiciness as well as a slight tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberries and small ripe / juicy berries associated with small touches of blue fruits, Zan, spices as well as discreet toasted hints in the background. Tannins are well-built. An easy-drinking wine.
