Château DUTRUCH GRAND POUJEAUX 2022 – Moulis-en-Médoc

The nose is clear, elegant and offers just the right intensity and good depth. It reveals notes of juicy blackberry, grey pepper and small notes of bright small wild fruits associated with touches of fresh tobacco, a hint of clove and a fine infusion note. On the palate, the wine is beautifully juicy, fruity and offers minerality, an acidulous frame, precision, tension and suppleness. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, violet and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of bright cherry, as well as fine hints of almost blueberry, cornflower, star anise and fine tobacco notes and offers a subtle touch of camphor and vanilla. Good length. Tannins are mellow, gourmand and sapid. A nicely delicate wine, fresh and juicy, silky, well-built and gourmand.
