The nose is elegant, racy, precise, frank, melodious, velvety and nicely defined. There are notes of bright cherry, juicy/fresh cassis and, more lightly, small juicy red fruits, associated with discreet hints of cornflower, star anise as well as a subtle hint of fresh blueberry (in the background). The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, elegant and racy, offering chewiness, elegant darkness as well as an infusion side. Lovely mellow side and fine powderiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy black cherry, small roasted-elegant red fruits and, more lightly, crushed raspberry, combined with touches of tobacco, cardamom, fine hints of zan, as well as a subtle hint of almost floral and fresh balsamic. Sappy, juicy persistence. Excellent appetence.
