The nose is nicely fresh, racy, mineral with a fresh infusion side. We have notes of fresh and pulpy wild blackberries, small, fairly ripe red fruits, graphite and more slightly bergamot associated with a hint of crushed purple plum as well as a discreet note of pepper and blond tobacco. We also perceive a subtle smoky touch. The palate is nicely fresh, mineral, balanced with a juicy, tangy structure. It has smoothness and creaminess in freshness with finesse and a very nice balance. There is lightness in its richness with notes of creamy blackberries, crushed strawberries and more slightly roasted cherries combined with touches of blueberries, star anise, graphite as well as hints of chocolate, fresh tea and cardamom. This wine has a beautiful freshness, energy and delicacy. The tannins are delicious, sapid and supple. We also have a subtle hint of roasting in the background with velvety texture and always a nice freshness.
