The nose is fruity, racy, elegant and offers freshness, minerality, depth, complexity, lovely texture and a fine floral/discreetly sappy side. There are notes of fresh blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of small brilliant red berries, associated with discreet touches of fruit flirting with roast-elegant, as well as a delicate hint of star anise, cherry blossom, discreet hints of infusion and a subtle, almost blood-orange hint. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity and offers a fresh frame, juiciness, suppleness, gourmandise, a lovely textured finesse, creaminess, delicacy in its richness, energy, balanced concentration, acidity and a lovely silky and brilliant of fruit. A lovely iodized, finely floral and textured mid-palate. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, small dense black fruits and small notes of roasted-elegant raspberry, combined with touches of small wild black fruits, bergamot, infusion, as well as a hint of roasting, cornflower, juniper berry, cocoa nib, iodine/saline minerality and a subtle hint of sappy. Mellow, sappy tannins. Subtle hint of graphite on the finish/persistence. Good length and persistence.
