The nose is beautifully aromatic and offers precision, power (full of finesse) as well as a small concentration and intensity. It reveals notes of juicy/fresh Boysen berry, ripe wild strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of spices, griotte, quite ripe blueberry as well as hints of green cardamom, fine hints of underwood/mushroom, a very fine hint of Sichuan pepper and an imperceptible hint of black tea. The palate is beautifully built, full of delicacy and offers suavity, juiciness, a beautiful precision, a beautiful fullness/fat (full of finesse), a fine silkiness, a beautiful power (full of delicacy) and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy black cherry, Boysen berry and small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of violet, camphor, a racy minerality as well as hints of small pulpy red fruits, tonka bean, a racy/almost saline minerality, nutmeg, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of bergamot (in the background). Tannins are racy, precise and offer a very fine chewiness. Good suave, gourmand persistence on fine hints of chocolate, fleshy/pulpy fruits and on an imperceptible hint of crushed cardamom.
