The nose is aromatic, precise and offers a lovely grain, a plenitude and peppery side. It reveals notes of cubeb pepper, nutmeg and small notes of fresh flowers, associated with touches of saffron (on the floral side), cloves, as well as fine hints of blackberry and a hint of almost bay laurel. The palate is mineral, fresh, it offers good definition, a certain juiciness, precision and suppleness. It presents a lovely textured, gourmand grain, a lovely iodized side and a sapid mid-palate. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, Charlotte strawberry, and small notes of cornflower, combined with touches of juicy/fresh cassis, as well as a hint of chocolate, toasted, subtle vanilla, flowers notes and fine hints of iodized/racy minerality. Good length. The tannins are precise, frank and fresh. Good persistence, with good work on the bitters on the finish/persistence.
