The nose is elegant, racy and offers deepness, delicacy, finesse as well as a very fine intensity. It reveals notes of black cherry, blackberry, small notes of violet, lily associated with small touches of liquorice, crushed raspberry as well as hints of pulpy/juicy violet plum, cardamom, sweet spices, cornflower as well as a subtle hint of black tea, cuben pepper and a very discreet hint of aromatic herbs/sage. The palate is fruity, fresh, finely tight, mineral and offers tension (in finesse), gourmandize, roundness (in finesse) and suavity (in finesse). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet, cornflower, small notes of small pulpy/juicy black fruits associated with touches of crushed raspberry as well as discreet hints of racy minerality, sweet spices, toasted and an imperceptible hint of sage/toasted hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are elegant, fine, coating and well-built. A very fine iodine hint and sapidity on the finish. An imperceptible hint of tonka bean on the aftertaste.
