The nose is powerful, aromatic and offers a good finesse of the grain as well as concentration. It reveals notes of ripe/fleshy cassis and more slightly blackberry, fleshy wild strawberry associated with small touches of blueberry as well as discreet hints of mushroom/underwood and spices (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, finely tight and offers a good guideline, material, a fine fleshiness, a small suavity, a fine acidulous frame, gat, gourmandize as well as minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry and fleshy wild strawberry associated with small/fine touches of chocolate, blueberry, wild raspberry as well as hints of tonka bean, discreet hints of vanilla, cardamom and an imperceptible hint of mushroom (in the background). Tannins are fine and elegant. Beautiful gourmandize on the finish. There are fine chews as well as a hint of toasted almond/grilled on the finish/persistence. A beautiful wine!
