Château du Taillan 2022 – Haut-Médoc

The nose offers fruit, a certain intensity, a stretch side as well as a fine straightness. We find notes of pulpy raspberry and small notes of bright cassis, associated with touches of concentrated fruits, a hint of violet, blond tobacco and a discreet, almost balsamic hint. The palate is mineral, offering fruit, freshness, good definition,a certain suppleness, brilliance of fruit, fleshiness, a hint of infusion and elegant darkness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, pulpy raspberry and more lightly, small crushed black fruits, associated with touches of sweet blond tobacco, vanilla as well as hints of star anise, tonka bean and an almost saline on the finish/persistence side. Harmonious.
