Château du Tailhas 2020 – Pomerol

On the nose, fresh and offers some concentration, boldness, spiciness and a bit of tightness. It reveals notes of wild cassis, blackberry and hints of camphor associated with touches of small black fruits, lily, clove, grey pepper and a discreet hint of toast. On the palate, fruity, a little tight and offers juiciness, suavity, a little freshness, some tension and an acidic frame. The wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy cassis and hints of raspberry associated with touches of small black berries, lily, cardamom, tonka bean, hints of clove, cinnamon and discreet vanilla. Sapidity and suavity on the finish/persistence.
