CHÂTEAU DU RETOUT 2024 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity, with a certain controlled power, precision and fine concentration. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and small notes of fleshy cassis, associated with touches of blond tobacco and a fine floral hint. The palate is fruity, pulpy, gourmand, with a nice fatness, brilliance, freshness of fruit and a nice little acidity, it also offers a subtle hint of sap to underline the whole. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy cherry, violet and small notes of blackberry, combined with touches of juicy/fresh cassis, as well as floral hints and a discreet touch of spices/a hint of licorice in the background.
