The nose is fruity and shows some power, harmony and a certain roundness. There are notes of crushed blackberry, pulpy strawberry and more slightly violet combined with light touches of crushed red berries as well as fine notes of nutmeg and vanilla. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness, acidity, good definition, roundness, a little tension and a certain gourmandize. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, crushed redcurrant and, more lightly, bright blackberry, combined with small touches of lily, violet, as well as hints of vanilla, liquorice and a discreet touch of toasted hazelnut. A little chewiness on the finish. The tannins are relatively soft.
