Château du Moulin Rouge 2024 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is well-built, chocolatey, finely powdered and offers a lovely delicacy in its texture. It reveals notes of wild cassis, tonka bean/cocoa and small notes of raspberry, associated with touches of bright cherry, crushed raspberry, lily, zan, delicate hints of infusion, as well as a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, bright, brilliant, pure, harmonious and offers a certain austerity in juiciness/elegance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy black cherry, juicy cassis and small notes of tonka bean, associated with touches of small bright/brilliant red fruits, as well as hints of toasted, toastiness and cardamom. Good length. Sapid tannins. A fine hint of toast in the background. Juicy, fresh and bright wine.
